It does require a bit of timing. First get your speed with the stylus or buttons, then at the near end activate momentum boost to get a significant speed increase just for the jump. Hold the default angle till he's almost at top, then start adjusting little by little depending on where he is. But don't get too eager as the more you adjust the angle, the faster he starts dropping his 'jump' and starts going down faster.

High jump really gets on my nerves now. I get a speed of 1050 cm/sec, yet I can't clear 280. Razz I dunno how on earth you get 295. Heh. To be honest, I don't even know how I cleared 278.

Try using a different character. Try with Snake, it helped Dez to get past his stucked heights.

Hmm ... I'll try that. Oh yeah, come to think of it, I did use snake to get 278.

EDIT: OMG THANK YOU! IT WORKED! IT'S A LOT EASIER WITH SNAKE! I was like using Frogger, and it was pretty much impossible.
